My interest in horses started at a very early age, riding ponies, attending local shows and gymkhanas and hunting. After owning my first thoroughbred horse I developed an interest in the thoroughbred industry and point-to-point racing.

I have owned, bred, trained and successfully competed in point-to-points and hunter chases. I have worked in the thoroughbred stud and racing industry in the UK, Southern Ireland and Italy.

I attended the University of the West of England for the Bsc (Hons) degree course in equine dental science, gaining a degree with hons. The degree course is approved by the DEFRA and British Veterinary Dental Association (BVDA).

I have also attended an extended course at the American School of Equine Dentistry under the instruction of Dr Raymond Hyde D.V.M.

I have gained experience working with other BEVA/BAEDT equine dental practitioners and veterinarians specializing in equine dentistry to further develop myself as much as possible within the field to ensure a thorough theoretical and practical knowledge of equine dental issues. I am currently compiling a case studies portfolio for qualification with BEVA/BAEDT in the near future.
